Alert Driving, Inc. provides DUI program services for participants ordered by the Court or the DMV to complete a state-licensed Driving Under the Influence program. Our DUI services are provided in both English and Spanish. ADI is DMV approved.

We are also certified as ADI-OP, Inc. to provide Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Counseling and Treatment. ADI-OP, Inc. accepts most major insurances for drug and alcohol treatment services.

We are located between Union and Leigh on Camden Ave. in San Jose convenient to the neighboring areas of Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Morgan Hill, Mt, View, Santa Clara, CampbellWillow Glen, and Santa Cruz. See Google Map. When you attend the orientation your Department of Motor Vehicles form is electronically submitted to the DMV allowing you to obtain your restricted driver’s license if you meet the DMV eligibility requirements.

Alert Driving, Inc. has been providing DUI classes in Santa Clara County since 1975. An arrest for driving under the influence can be an unfamiliar and challenging process for most participants. We know you have questions and we are here to answer your questions and help simplify the process. Since 2009 we also offer outpatient treatment and counseling. ADI-OP, Inc. specializes in confidential, private individual sessions.in addition to traditional intensive and regular outpatient. The DUI process can be complicated, confusing, and expensive. Our programs at Alert Driving Inc. are created to get you through the process as smoothly as possible.

DUI Orientation Appointment

Before receiving services, a mandatory orientation is held to explain the rules and requirements, assess program fees and determine method of payment.You will choose the days and times for your classes while you are at the orientation. We provide classes evenings, weekends, late afternoon and mornings. Written notice of all activities, schedules, times and classroom assignments are given to each participant at this time. 

Spanish language orientations please contact the office at 408-879-7581.

English language orientations are offered as follows:

Tuesday 5:30-7:30 PM

Wednesday 3:00-5:00 PM

Thursday 9:30-11:30 AM

You will be required to stay for the full two hours. On the day of the orientation you will select your class days and times from our program list. To request an orientation date, use our Orientation Date Request Form, or call the ADI office during the listed office hours. 408-879-7581

On the date you attend the orientation your Department of Motor Vehicles form is electronically submitted to the DMV allowing you to obtain your restricted drivers license if you are eligible. If finances are a concern you can schedule a financial assessment appointment with us.

Bring one of the following documents to the orientation along with a $175 down payment toward the total program fee:

  • Admin per se pink temporary license along with the alcohol level
  • Court Order; please be aware if the court has an enrollment deadline
  • An H-6 In-house printout from the DMV
  • We accept checks, cash, debit or visa, mastercard, discover credit cards.
